Happy Friday the 13th, John!

 

David is out today preparing for events this weekend, but if you have a moment, I thought you might like to know more about our behind-the-scenes work to get him elected.

 

Our most important task every week is finding opportunities to put David in front of more voters here in Idaho’s Second Congressional District.

 

After nearly 25 years in Congress, most voters know Mike Simpson’s name. We need even more to know the name David Roth.

 

We’re accomplishing this by booking David at events, designing palm cards and other campaign materials, improving his online presence, connecting him with community leaders and organizations, and helping him reach supporters like you.

 

It’s up to us to make sure David doesn’t miss a single chance to tell his story and why he’s running for Congress. But who are we?

 

Our team is made up of LGBTQ+ Idahoans – like David – and allies. Some of us are concerned parents, desperate to give our country a better future for our children. 

 

We also have help from team members outside the state who joined the campaign because they see in David what we do: a real American running to create change, someone who will answer to people’s needs rather than corporations and lobbyists.

 

Support for our campaign crosses state lines because the problems we face here at home are felt across the country. Only Congress has the power to improve our lives from coast to coast, but Mike Simpson won’t use that power for his constituents.

 

We know David WILL.

 

But we still have ground to cover. It’s going to take a lot more support to beat Mike’s NRA funding in ID-02.
