This act of war has brought immense suffering and fear to Israeli civilians, and we stand resolutely in solidarity with them during this distressing time. The invasion of Israel and the deliberate targeting of Israeli civilians is an indefensible act that deserves the strongest condemnation. There is no justification for unprovoked attacks on civilian populations.
Israel has an unequivocal right to defend itself and its citizens from acts of war and the duty to use whatever force is necessary to protect its citizens and bring an end to conflict.
