Hi John,
It’s that time of year again…Alliance San Diego is excited to welcome you to our annual community event the 36th All Peoples Celebration that celebrates the living legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year, Alliance San Diego is moving forward, building community power to create a more inclusive democracy, where everyone can exercise the entirety of their human rights. We have been exploring a new tool box that will ultimately help us shrink the alarming gap between our policies and true justice. We now know that the Constitution is merely the floor from which we will rise to claim our dignity and human rights in its entirety. We invite you to join us on this path that defends human rights and claims our dignity.
We will host the event at the beautiful Balboa Park Activity Center in Balboa Park, offering individual tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities. There is a level of support for everyone to join in creating the Beloved Community that Dr. King envisioned. The event will be filled with various performances by local San Diegans, mingling with community partners, and light refreshments. We anticipate a full house with you included. The event will take place on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 9am-11:30am. Our free community space event which features the work of various community organizations will begin at 9am. All ticketed attendees will be invited to partake inside the venue at 9:40am.
Consider this your personal invitation. The theme this year is: Claiming DIGNITY which invites you to practice an intentional exchange of humanity; to make a commitment to begin every conversation for change with DIGNITY. January right around the corner, don’t delay, register today!
