Hey John,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you because, quite frankly, I’m fed up. I’m fed up with politicians in Washington playing games every year with our healthcare, our social security, and our federal worker's income all because they want to score a few political points.

It’s not right, and it’s not what those folks were sent there to do.

But the GOP has shown us who they are. And when someone shows you who they are, you need to believe them. They’re not serious about governing this country, and they’re not interested in coming up with real solutions to the problems facing millions of North Carolina families and Americans every single day.

So here’s my plan for us here in North Carolina: we’re going to protect the Senate, protect the White House, and flip the House blue – starting right here in NC-13 with my friend Wiley Nickel. Will you split a donation between the North Carolina Democratic Party and Wiley Nickel’s campaign to protect his seat and flip the House next year? 

If we’re gonna do this, we’ve got to do a hell of a lot of organizing across the entire state. And I can promise you that’s going to require a hell of a lot of money and resources. 

But I know we can build a statewide campaign that will put adults back in the majority because I know one thing about North Carolina Democrats is y’all show up. 

This is the land where the weak grow strong, and the strong grow great. And we’re growing stronger every day.
