[link removed] [[link removed]]Last month, Governor Green traveled to the United Nations to seek additional support and resources for Maui’s recovery from partners around the world, update a U.N. conference on Hawaii’s progress toward our sustainability and renewable energy goals, and deliver a message on the growing threat of extreme weather events fueled by global climate change.

Josh also signed an update to the Emergency Proclamation relating to Affordable Housing to address Hawaii’s decades-long housing crisis and build thousands of new affordable homes across the state.

Since taking office, Josh has signed new laws strengthening gun safety, protecting women’s reproductive healthcare rights, and making government more transparent and accountable.

It’s Josh’s mission to provide trusted and effective leadership, and to take action on Hawaii’s biggest challenges and the issues that matter most to people.
