John,

With all of the chaos and frenzy as congressional Republicans continue to tear themselves apart, one thing is clear:

House Democrats, under the leadership of Hakeem Jeffries, continue to put people over politics – but without a blue majority, there aren’t enough of us willing to move forward the best solutions for our most pressing problems.

We need to take back the House majority and get our country back on track. I’m working with my fellow Democratic leaders in Congress to make it happen, but we need to show a strong surge of grassroots support during this tumultuous week. Will you help us raise $5,000 this week? [[link removed]]

It’s time for my extreme Republican colleagues to start governing, and find bipartisan common ground. Their in-fighting and unwillingness to work across the aisle is harming hard-working Americans.

By focusing on political drama instead of the needs of the American people, congressional Republicans are degrading the institution. Our decision-making is grinding to a halt as this House-Republican civil war wastes precious time.

In the words of Abraham Lincoln, “A house divided cannot stand.”

I’m ready, willing, and able to find bipartisan solutions to the significant challenges in Congress, John. But if Republicans refuse to come to the table, then a Democratic majority is the only way forward. Will you show your support with a donation of $10 today? [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Marilyn
