As LAANE’s founding Development Director, Stella T. Maloyan built one of the nation’s most successful nonprofit private fundraising programs, raising over $25 million and creating two annual marquee events: City of Justice Awards Dinner, the premier political/labor dinner in California, and the Women for a New Los Angeles Luncheon. Stella created and developed the successful LAANE Advisory Board, which includes powerbrokers from all over the country and from various sectors like the entertainment industry. Now, as the Principal at Stellar Strategies Group, she is helping build power for the progressive movement with various nonprofits nationally. An outspoken advocate for gender equity, Stella is committed to celebrating and elevating the achievements of women leaders in politics, activism, business, and the arts.
