Dear friend,

You are invited to the launch of

CAAT's Annual Report: UK Arms Exports in 2022

Thursday 5th October, 7 pm - 8 pm

Online webinar

The report author, CAAT Research Coordinator Dr Samuel Perlo-Freeman, will
present the main findings of the report, followed by responses from Rhona
Michie of Shadow World Investigations, which investigates and exposes
corruption in the global arms trade, and Joshua Cooper of ALQST for Human
Rights, a UK-based organisation which promotes human rights in Saudi
Arabia. This will be followed by Q&A and discussion.

CAAT's Annual Report draws together information and data on UK arms exports
from a variety of sources to present an overall picture of the UK arms
trade in 2022, and trends over the past 10 years.

Given the lack of transparency in the global arms trade, where each source
provides only partial information, this approach allows for a much more
comprehensive picture.

The report also discusses in more depth several key destinations for UK
arms in 2022 that CAAT considers particularly problematic, or which raise
particular issues of concern.

We look forward to seeing you at the launch!
