A supporter at a Trump rally in Iowa asked him:

“I’m telling you. No man can endure what you’ve endured. Do you realize that God is behind you?”

It will come as no surprise that he attacked me once again — he knows how effective I have been in holding him to account and doesn’t want me elected to the Senate — and he is doing all he can to stop me.

Here’s what Trump said:

“Now think of how bad these people were. A guy like Adam shifty Schiff, who is a real bad guy. I call him Pencil Neck because he has the smallest neck I’ve ever seen. He’s not gonna be playing for your local teams — Iowa, Iowa State, they’re not gonna be recruiting him to play football.”

Whether Trump is making petty personal insults or calling for my imprisonment, we can never let his demagogic attacks go unanswered.

Trump is attacking me because he knows I am effective, and because he fears what I can do as a Senator to stand up to the MAGA bullies.

Scared, because when I stood up to him, I secured the first bipartisan vote in history to impeach a sitting president.

Scared, because he knows I hold those who abuse their power accountable — whether it’s him, big corporations, or any other special interests that are rigging the rules and making life harder for working families. This pencil neck won’t break.

He’s scared of the grassroots coalition we’re building. A coalition that’s fighting for affordable housing. To save the planet. To build an economy that works for everyone.

A coalition that’s going to come together and win.
