John – With the end-of-month and quarterly fundraising deadline approaching at the end of this week, your inbox is about to be flooded with politicians asking for money. You’re going to see a lot of scare tactics from both sides about how, if you’d only send them $5, then America will be saved from the brink of collapse. I’m sure it gets overwhelming and that you are tired of seeing the same hyperbolic rhetoric fill your email inbox, especially at the end of the month. Rarely do people asking for money tell you exactly how your donations will help their campaigns and what they actually use your money for. So, I’m going to tell you how your donations help my campaign. PROMOTING THE CONSERVATIVE MESSAGE: For conservatives to promote our message and values on key policy issues and debates, we must inform people with compelling content. I regularly produce and post persuasive videos to millions of people on social media and through other mediums on some of the most pressing issues facing America - like border security, debunking false narratives about climate change, and why the conservative governing philosophy is best suited for prosperity. Producing and getting these videos out to as many people as possible takes resources, resources that I would not have without your help. INCREASING VOTER TURNOUT IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES: In some of the most critical swing districts, low voter turnout in Republican primaries has led to unqualified candidates securing the GOP nomination, only to go on to lose the general election to a Democrat. We all know examples from the last election cycle of good pickup opportunities that were lost because too many conservatives stayed home during the primaries. Democrats poured millions of dollars into many of those GOP primary races with the intention of nominating the worst candidates. Which is why I am putting a strong emphasis on increasing voter turnout in GOP primaries so that we nominate candidates who will dominate in the November election. Door knocking, phone banking, voter registration drives, volunteer recruitment, social media campaigns, and much more. We have got to beat the Democrats at their own ground game. HELPING CONSERVATIVES WIN UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT: Holding the Republican majority in the House, retaking the Senate, and helping conservatives up and down the ballot is a responsibility I take very seriously. I travel the country campaigning for conservatives, assisting in their messaging, and helping make sure they have what they need to win. When you send your hard-earned money to my campaign, you’re also helping Republicans gain and sustain governing majorities at all levels of America’s government. RECRUITING YOUNG PEOPLE TO JOIN THE CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT: Recruiting the next generation of Americans to join our conservative movement is one of my top priorities. One of the best ways I do this is through my Crenshaw Youth Summit and other events I hold throughout the year, specifically geared toward young people. These are fun and informative events with some of the most well-known speakers in America. Thousands of young people attend these events at very low cost, and your donations help ensure we can put on a great event without having to charge an exorbitant amount of money to attend.
