September 30th is days away and it is a very important date for a couple of reasons.
First, It’s a crucial fundraising deadline for my campaign. It’s the last day of the quarter and it’s the day we file a public report that illustrates how our fundraising is going. I’ll be honest—I am short of my goal. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. I need your help.

Second, September 30th is also the last day that the United States government will be funded before it’s shut down by radical Republicans in Congress. Not surprisingly, Scott Perry’s Freedom Caucus is leading the government shutdown push.
They are holding Congress hostage with their demands and using routine government bills—bills that are being passed in the Senate on a bipartisan basis—as leverage to force Congress to back their radical agenda. In the last few days, they’ve even stopped bills that would fund our military. Enough is enough. As your next Congresswoman, I will make sure Congress meets its basic obligations and our government remains open and running. I’ll fight against budget cuts that hurt our families, our farmers, and our armed service members. This shouldn’t be about politics and agendas—keeping the government open is the job of our elected leaders in Washington!

During the 2022 election, our campaign outperformed past candidates and put this race on the radar of the Democratic Party in DC. We were able to show that this race is winnable by running a smart and efficient campaign. Since then, Scott Perry and the other radicals in Congress have shown that Republicans can’t and don’t even want to govern. This district is ready for a change. As a second-time candidate, I know what works and what doesn’t. I know that without resources, I won’t be able to reach the voters we need to reach to win next November. I know we can’t run a typical campaign—we need to be smart and strategic. I did it once and I’m ready to do it again. With enough resources this time around, I know we can finish what we started last year.
