I’m excited to share this news with you, folks: Our campaign to defend IL-06 has officially kicked off!

We’ve begun recruiting volunteers, scheduling events, and just a few weeks ago, held our very first Ballot Petitioning Kickoff Event!

(If you didn’t get the chance to join us, fear not: We’ll have plenty of opportunities for you to support our campaign, whether it’s volunteering or chipping in a few bucks.)

Here are our key objectives at this stage of the race:

• Share my message and record of service in Congress before my Republican opponent gets the chance to set the narrative in their favor


• Build new inroads into communities across the district, and solidify our existing base of support


• Register and mobilize as many voters as possible to counter GOP voter suppression


• File strong FEC fundraising reports each quarter – starting with our FEC End-of-Quarter deadline in one week

That’s the gist, but there’s a mile-long list of reasons why your support matters in this critical race. So please, can I count on you to pitch in $25 to help our team finish the quarter strong?
