At the end of this month, we’re facing an urgent and critical fundraising deadline: September 30 is a massive FEC benchmark, when reporters and Republicans alike will examine our numbers, probing for weaknesses and looking for strategies to take us out in 2024. 

This FEC deadline matters, a lot -- so I challenged my team to set a goal of raising $100,000 before midnight on Sunday, September 30.

I believe we can do it -- but it’s going to take everyone pitching in, not just a select few. With our deadline looming, I have to ask: Can you pitch in $25, $50, or whatever you can afford to help us reach our goal?

There’s a lot at stake here in Virginia. Republicans are in the midst of a full-court press aimed at flipping the VA legislature in November. Gov. Glenn Youngkin is signaling to donors and supporters that he could run for Senate or even the presidency in 2024, and nearly a dozen Republican candidates have already thrown their hats in the ring to challenge me next year. 

Whether it’s Amanda Chase, Hung Cao, Glenn Youngkin, or any of the other Republicans who emerge next year, I know we’ll have our work cut out for us. 

I also know Virginians aren’t easily swayed. And I’m confident that with enough resources, we’ll be able to communicate our vision of a Virginia that works for all voters and we’ll emerge victorious. But we need to do the work now. 

Please pitch in to help me win re-election in 2024, and let’s keep Virginia blue.
