New reporting shows that nearly $2 million in dark money has poured into Virginia for this year’s election cycle -- with the vast majority of it going to Republicans.
According to the Virginia Center for Investigative Journalism, more than $1.4 million in dark money has been spent in support of Republican candidates, with less than $300k going to Democrats. And they’re using these funds to run false campaign ads designed to flip the VA legislature into full GOP control.
We know what the Republicans will do if they win: Attack voting rights, ban abortion, roll back Medicaid expansion for over 700,000 Virginians, and much more.
Look, tomorrow is the first day of early voting for this year’s Virginia legislative elections, so we need to make sure every voter knows EXACTLY what’s at stake in this election.
