Our communities have been DEVASTATED by gun violence for far too long.

– New Mexico witnessed the murders of three children, including an 11-year-old boy gunned down outside a minor league baseball game, and a 5-year-old taken by stray bullets in her sleep.

– New Mexico witnessed three horrifying mass shootings this May where 6 were slaughtered and 10 more were wounded.

– New Mexico witnessed a 43% rise in gun deaths in the last decade.

But New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham just bravely stood up and took action to protect the communities she serves from the destruction of gun violence.
