Stand for Educational Freedom

NEW | Some Legislators are Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud: “We don’t care about your Choice kids”

Last week, a group of Democrats in the state legislature announced set of bills that would effectively bring educational choice in Wisconsin to an end.

While public support for choice is more than 70% of Wisconsinites overall and even a majority of Democrats, some legislators would see the state move in a different direction.

This bill package would do the following:

  • Phase out the statewide School Choice programs
  • Phase out the Special Needs Scholarship Program
  • Include choice funding on taxes
  • Add a licensure requirement for private school teachers

Check out the major implications of these bills, read our full analysis here.
