🛑 Stop Cop City! 🛑

The referendum campaign to Stop Cop City continues through September! Help us call City of Atlanta voters to get them to support our campaign! Our next phonebanking session is Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00 PM.

This is a virtual event. A link to attend this virtual event will be emailed upon RSVP.

LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE! The Vote to Stop Cop City campaign has submitted 116,000 signatures from City of Atlanta voters who support putting Cop City on the ballot for a referendum this November. Atlantans overwhelmingly support their right to have a say in whether $67 million of their taxpayer money is spent on a militarized police training facility that would destroy vital green space in the South River Forest. The people of Atlanta have spoken and now we must hold City Council members accountable to our democratic mandate.

Please call and write your Council Members to ask them to accept our petition and support putting Cop City on the ballot!

Join Atlanta DSA to help put Cop City on the ballot! We're reaching out to District 2 voters to build support for the Stop Cop City movement and put pressure on City Council members to accept the 116,000 petition signatures, call a referendum for this November, and let the people decide on Cop City.

💰 Fulton County Abortion Fund 💰

Graphic Promoting the Fulton County Abortion Fund

Last year, Atlanta City Council signed legislation to allocate $300,000 of city funds to support the efforts of Access Reproductive Care (ARC) Southeast, a nonprofit that provides funding assistance for costs associated with abortion. Now, we’re calling on Fulton County to do the same!

Find out who your County Commissioner is and contact them about passing an abortion fund:
Chair: Robb Pitts at 404-613-2330 and [email protected]
District 1: Bridget Thorne at [email protected]
District 2: Bob Ellis at 404-612-8216 and [email protected]
District 3: Dana Barrett at [email protected]
District 4: Natalie Hall at 404-612-8226 and [email protected]
District 5: Marvin Arrington Jr. at 404-613-0202 and [email protected]
District 6: Khadijah Abdur-Rahman 404-612-8222 and [email protected]

Find talking points & more at atldsa.org/abortion. After you’ve contacted your County Commissioner, make a plan to attend the October 4th Board of Commissioners meeting to give public comment in support of the Fulton County Abortion Fund!
