Dear fellow Brooklynites,

Tonight's the night! Meet BYD at Brooklyn Public House for our next general meeting!

You'll have a chance to meet our new President and AAPI Caucus Chair. We'll also consider an endorsement for Amber Adler ([link removed]) , who's running for City Council in District 48 against a Republican incumbent. Then, we'll get updates on other competitive races and gear up for the general election this November.

Come at 6:30pm for happy hour! We'll start the business at 7:00pm.

Join BYD's new AAPI Caucus for its first event: a young professionals mixer at Fort Hamilton Distillery on Thursday, September 21st!

Meet up to enjoy drinks and discuss ways to empower young AAPI voices in Brooklyn. We'll chat about how to ensure that AAPI communities are civically engaged, and what we can do to provide a pipeline for young AAPI folks to get active and run for office!

Justin is facing a competitive general election against a right-wing Republican opponent. Meet BYD and our allies in Coney Island on Saturday, Sept. 23 to knock doors and get the word out!

BYD endorsed Council Member Justin Brannan ([link removed]) in his run for Council District 47 because he's a proud Democrat who shares our values. Now, he needs our support.

This is going to be a very close race, and we need your help to get the vote out!
