John — Our government is on the brink of a shutdown, and what is Speaker Kevin McCarthy doing?

Instead of negotiating a spending deal for the benefit of the American people, McCarthy once again caved to MAGA extremists by supporting a baseless and purely political impeachment inquiry against President Biden – without a vote.

Let's be clear here, several House Republicans have already come forward to state that there is no evidence to support such an inquiry. According to The Hill , Kevin McCarthy even told members of his party in July that he was opposed to an impeachment inquiry.
