Today, Kevin McCarthy announced a completely baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden. It’s another reminder that the GOP is more than willing to continue to lie to the American public and destroy the rule of law, just to give Trump a better shot at the White House in 2024. 

We’re not surprised it’s come to this. McCarthy has an army of MAGA minions working him like a puppet in the House. We knew they’d ultimately pull the impeachment stunt. And you better believe Trump has been working this behind the scenes too. 

It might be unsurprising, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. MAGA keeps showing America the crazy. Now we need to do the work to beat them >> 

It’s also no coincidence that Kevin McCarthy made this move the same day Putin endorsed McCarthy’s puppet master for President. They’re both in charge of nationalist authoritarian movements. They both lead political cults. And that means they stand to benefit from the other’s success.

Putin knows a Trump presidency will be the end of NATO and allow him to conquer Eastern Europe. For MAGA, Trump in the White House secures a corrupt future where MAGA can live consequence-free. 

It’s a simple and dangerous relationship. Putin controls MAGA, and MAGA controls the GOP.

That’s why we’re witnessing this attack on President Biden. He’s spent his presidency standing up to the authoritarian forces trying to undermine our democratic institutions, both at home and abroad. 

This impeachment ploy is just an attempt by the MAGA cult to undermine President Biden’s success. We need to stand with him. Are you with us?
