Tomorrow, the House of Representatives will return to Washington after six weeks of summer recess. I’ll be busy fighting against the entrenched D.C. interests set on exploiting the funding deadline to continue the status quo of wasteful, bloated spending and weaponized policies. The status quo enables open border policies, weaponized government, and unaccountable spending binges – we cannot allow this to continue.
REMINDER: This is what swamp creatures are calling for
We know that terrorist organizations are exploiting our open border. We’ve thankfully been able to stop some of them, but with millions of illegal crossers escaping notice and apprehension as “got aways,” there is no way to know how many potential terrorists have crossed our southern border.
Bad actors are exploiting this critical weakness, making America less secure and more prone to terrorist attacks. It’s shameful.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams, who advocated for unfettered illegal immigration, is now changing his tune after having to deal with this crisis in his own city. He is now saying, correctly, that illegal immigration will DESTROY New York City.
TWEET: If Biden keeps the border open, it won’t just be NYC - it will destroy America.
We can’t fund this lawlessness any longer. My colleagues in the House Freedom Caucus and I will be fighting tooth and nail to stop this disgraceful attack on our sovereignty.
Government funding expires on September 30th, so it is certain to be a very busy month. Throughout this funding fight, I’ll be updating you through my social media pages and this newsletter.
A Victory Against the Weaponization of Government
On Friday night, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Biden Administration’s censorship-laundering schemes during the pandemic violated the First Amendment.

Joe Biden used the power of his office to coerce Big Tech companies to censor speech. The court wrote that the threats were both “explicit and subtle” and had “plans to punish” companies who refused to comply.
We need to build a firewall between tech and state. That must include defunding agencies that carry out censorious activities and firing all bureaucrats who perpetrate these censorship laundering schemes. We must also pass my bill, the Censorship Accountability Act, which will give every American the opportunity to sue the government agent that violates their First Amendment rights by censoring their speech.
