Dear John,

Right now the House and Senate Appropriations Committees are meeting and deciding what next year's funding for salary increases will look like. The two chambers have very different plans.

There are a few things we do know, such as both chambers scrap bonuses and neither chamber invests enough to ensure meaningful raises for all educators.

But there are a lot of unknowns as well. We created a flowchart to make it as easy as possible for you to see where you fall in the current plans.

Will you see a raise next year? [link removed]

Don’t like what you see in the flowchart? Get in touch with the members of the Appropriations Committees today and tell them any salary plan must be long-term, include all school employees, respect local control, and provide raises for veteran teachers.

Call and write the Appropriations Committees  today! [link removed]

Thank you for all you do to ensure Florida's students have the high-quality education they deserve.

In Solidarity,

Fedrick C. Ingram
