Friends, I want to try something a little different this month.

At the end of September, we’re facing our most important fundraising deadline yet of this campaign — the third quarter FEC filing deadline.

Usually, we send emails throughout the month about the campaign, Tim’s priorities, updates from the Senate, and so on. About a week out from the end of the month, we assess our budget and identify any gaps, and then, more often than not, we will need to send a lot of fundraising emails to close those gaps.

But throughout September, I’m tracking our budget every single day — so I can tell you right now, there’s about $156,000 between where we are today and where we need to be on September 30th.

So here’s the deal:

I’m not asking you for money right now. Instead, I’m asking you to pledge to donate some amount — any amount — by September 30th.

Knowing I can count on you later this month makes a huge difference right now, and lets me and my team focus on our future planning, not just making ends meet.

If enough folks pledge to give, we won’t need to send out those frenzied end-of-quarter emails — we’ll be able to look ahead, map out Tim’s victory, and put our plans into action.
