Our country is in the midst of an unprecedented student debt crisis, totaling over $1.77 trillion nationwide.

The cost of higher education is at an all-time high, which leaves our students with no choice but to take on insurmountable debt in order to follow their dreams.

Americans should not be punished for pursuing an education. It’s time to alleviate the burden of student debt for borrowers everywhere.

That’s why I’m proud to join my colleagues in Congress to introduce a slate of bills that will help borrowers recover from debt and reach their financial goals. Add your name in support of this work and join the fight for student debt relief! [[link removed]]

Everyone deserves the financial security necessary to build a better future for themselves, whether it’s buying a home, owning a car, starting a business, saving for retirement, and more. And the burden of student debt – or the adverse credit history that often results – should not be a barrier.

Americans who pursue higher education and make an effort to pay off their loans deserve a chance at prosperity, re-establishing their credit, and participating in the economy.

It’s time we help borrowers get back on track and alleviate the burden of student debt once and for all. Sign on here if you agree! [[link removed]]
