VICTORY | WILL Wins Lawsuit Over Illegal Voter Registration Form | |

Today, WILL won a lawsuit against the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) on behalf of Rick Braun, a registered Wisconsin voter and taxpayer.
The suit challenged the use of the National Mail Voter Registration Form in Wisconsin, which was issued by the United States Election Assistance Commission. The suit argued that the use of the Form to register voters in Wisconsin was unlawful, because WEC never lawfully adopted it and because it failed to meet statutory requirements.
🗯 Lucas Vebber, WILL Deputy Counsel, stated, “It is unfortunate that time and time again Wisconsinites have to go to court to force state agencies to follow the law. Today’s win is a tremendous victory for Wisconsinites, and sends yet another strong message to bureaucrats who disregard the rule of law.”

UPDATE | WILL Sues Town of Hayward for Ignoring Public Meetings Law | |
|
WILL filed a lawsuit last week against the Town of Hayward for ignoring Wisconsin law, and refusing to notice and hold a special town meeting rightfully and legally requested by residents of the town.
🗯 WILL Associate Counsel, Skylar Croy, stated, “Residents deserve to be heard and the town of Hayward is ignoring their legal obligations to the people that entrusted them and elected them to office. As promised, WILL has acted on behalf of our clients and filed a lawsuit in court this week.”
🗯 WILL Client, Brenda Dettloff, added, “The Town of Hayward cannot ignore their legal obligations to their constituents. I am proud to stand with citizens of the Town of Hayward on both sides of the aisle to give them on unified voice. We will continue to fight together to have our voices heard.”
