Dear John,

I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day holiday and got to spend time with family and friends. I find it’s the perfect day to remind us of something that makes our district great: The variety of businesses that support our economy – and the workers who staff those businesses.
We’re lucky to have strong manufacturing, healthcare, and government activities to give us a vibrant economic base. But to keep that vitality going, we have to invest in our workers, which means investing in education.

We also must make it easy to start and run small businesses in our district. Entrepreneurship fills in the gaps where large businesses cannot reach: it’s the backbone of our economy. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand how imperative it is to support small businesses.

I think every day about our local economy. The #SpiritofService drives me to find ways to keep it healthy and growing. If you believe in that goal, please support my campaign. Every hard-earned dollar counts.
