Here's the problem: Republicans currently control 29 state legislatures. That may not sound like a lot, but if they control only five more, they could call a constitutional convention and rewrite the Constitution.

It's our last fundraising push for the month, and every dollar helps elect pro-choice Democratic women up and down the ballot — including to state legislatures.

A Republican-led constitutional convention represents a special threat to the right to choose.

If Republicans are successful in their efforts, they could rewrite the Constitution to overturn Roe v. Wade or limit our right to access abortion in any number of horrifying ways. The hundreds of anti-choice bills that have been proposed in state legislatures over the last year show us some of the possibilities.

We can't let that happen. Let's flip more state legislatures with pro-choice Democratic women.
