I am so excited about Green Tie Madison! Join us in less than three weeks, on Sept 20, for our annual celebration of conservation and the people who make it happen. 

People who work on serious issues need a chance to have some fun. We’re all coming to Green Tie Madison because of the issues we care about, not just a shared love of farm-to-table snacks and green shawls.

This year we are recognizing Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Laura Schulte with a Conservation Action Award for her impactful reporting on PFAS in Wisconsin. Laura’s work provided critical information to Wisconsin residents and policymakers about PFAS in our water, and many other environmental concerns. She’s also “probably out hiking or reading a book” according to her twitter biography, and still writing about PFAS.

If you’re concerned about water quality, journalism, voting rights, clean energy, or all of the above and more, we’ll be talking about it at Green Tie Madison. Please get your ticket today and join us to celebrate Laura and our other award winners.
