John, the 2023 Regular Texas Legislative Session was immensely difficult for all of us.
Instead of using their power to address the real issues we face here in Texas, our extremist legislators chose to target transgender children and their loving families, the LGBTQIA+ community at large, public education, the freedom to read, freedom of expression, DEI advances, and educators at public colleges and universities across Texas.
Today, September 1, 2023, many of the laws passed during the Regular Legislative Session go into effect. Learn what they mean for you, your friends, and your family in our blog.

In this blog, we cover the key bills our advocacy team organized around, including the gender-affirming care ban, the chaplain bill, the drag ban, and others. [[link removed]] It's important to note that some of them are facing lawsuits, so we've also included the latest updates on those.
John, no law can take away our power, community, or commitment to equity and justice. With your support, we will keep working tirelessly to create the state we deserve, where all people are accepted, embraced, and safe.
Yours in the fight for a Texas for all,
