It was 88 years ago this month when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act of 1935 into law. Today, Social Security remains a lifeline for millions of older Americans, many of whom are women and people of color.

For nearly nine decades, seniors have been paying into Social Security and then collecting their earned benefits. But MAGA Republicans want to change that. They might use euphemisms like entitlement reform – but what they really mean is gutting and cutting Social Security.

There is a critical election next year, and it's vital that we elect a Democratic majority to protect and defend Social Security. Can you donate $3 before our final summer fundraising deadline so we have the resources we need to win? [[link removed]]

Don't be fooled when MAGA Republicans say that Social Security is too expensive or going bankrupt– the truth is that it's not a priority for them.

We need a House majority that will look out for the needs of the American people. Chip in now and join the fight! [[link removed]]

Thank you for standing with me,

Suzanne
