We have exciting news to share with you, John. Right now, March For Our Lives is at an inflection point. Over the past five years, we’ve scaled the highest heights and accomplished what many told us was impossible. In doing so, we helped pull a chair out for an entire generation of gun safety advocates to take our rightful places at the political table. As our movement enters a new chapter, we sought a new leader who can help steward the movement and care for and grow an organization that has been the political and activism home for young people. We’re happy to share that the search has officially ended and that we found our next leader in one of our fellow movement members. We're overjoyed to announce that Natalie Fall is our next Executive Director!
Natalie is an expert on gun safety in her own right, having come to March For Our Lives after many years with our friends at Giffords. She joined March For Our Lives four years ago, in the early days of the movement, helping to build a solid foundation for our organization and bring our vision for the future to life. Many organizers at March For Our Lives will know Natalie as a tireless cheerleader who has stood in the background of nearly every one of our actions and groundbreaking events as our longtime Director of Development, and her instrumental work last summer as we fought to pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Natalie’s decade-long experience in the gun violence prevention space is not just remarkable, it’s unmatched. As a known and trusted face in the movement, she understands the long arc of the movement’s history and the nuances of where we need to go next to save lives. As we chart our next steps forward in a monumental election year, and in the shadow of a worsening crisis for the gun violence epidemic, Natalie is the right leader for the moment and we couldn't be more excited.
