Virginia Democrats raise alarm that Gov. Glenn Youngkin is building toward a national bid
Political pundits on the national stage are openly speculating that VA Gov. Glenn Youngkin is building toward a national bid for the presidency.
Democratic strategists and party leaders are worried that if Republicans do well in this fall’s legislative elections, Youngkin will have full control of Virginia’s governance -- allowing him to pass far-right policies and further his mission to turn Virginia fully red.
We can’t allow this to happen.
As Tim Kaine says, we may be a battleground that leans blue, but we’re not a blue state through and through.
Will you pitch in $25 or more to help Tim Kaine win re-election in 2024, and send a message to Youngkin that Virginia isn’t his staging ground for a presidential bid? [[link removed]]

Gov. Youngkin has openly talked about Ron DeSantis as a role model for governor. And just as in Florida, we’ve already seen similar efforts in Virginia to ban books, end our status as the only state in the South without an abortion ban, and limit voting rights.
Let’s have Tim Kaine’s back in the fight to stop Youngkin from turning Virginia red.
