Hi there,

My name is Kevin, and for many months leading up to the Iowa Caucuses, I was in charge of our retro-fitted ice cream truck called the Pete Mobile! It was an extraordinary experience.

The most memorable part of the adventure wasn’t the truck, but instead the time I spent with Pam -- the Pete supporter who volunteered her spare room to me during my time in Iowa.

Pam and I would chat briefly every morning, and then she and Dolly (her shih tzu puppy) would send me off for the day. We became fast friends, and over time developed a strong connection. And I still miss Dolly, who waited for me outside of my door every morning.

As the dust settled around the Iowa Caucuses, Pam, Dolly, and I hugged and shared a teary goodbye. We still text every so often, and I will never forget Pam’s generosity and the little moments we shared in the months leading up to the caucuses.

Supporter housing is such an important and fun campaign tradition. It allows us to move our staff where they’re most needed as quickly as possible, which will give us a major operational advantage going into the later contests.

We’re building a broad coalition of support everywhere, and as the primary contests ramp up, our staffers and volunteers will move all across the country.

That’s where you come in: When a housing need arises in your area, are you able to provide temporary housing to one of our team members? It can be for a few days or a few weeks.

If you have an extra room, bed, or couch in your home and you’d be willing to host one of our staffers or volunteers, click here to let us know and a member of our staff will be in touch if a housing need arises in your area. [[link removed]]

Hi Pam!

Thanks,

Kevin
