Dear John,
You know what I love about cacti? They're so resilient.

They battle extreme elements from the sun, wind, sand, rain... they withstand a lot. Given the hardship, cacti thrive. They produce beautiful flowers and fruits. Some can live for up to 200 years and grow up to 80 feet tall!

Even when they are damaged, cacti continue to grow in a new direction. They're amazing.

Their resilience makes me want to take on the qualities of a cactus (not prickly, of course). Standing the test of time and all that the world throws at me.

So how can we be more resilient, strong, flexible, and durable?

It starts with education.
