John – Every day, Americans feel the impact of Joe Biden’s failures as president. Our paychecks have been diminished under inflation caused by overspending and government waste. Our communities have been devastated by fentanyl, a poison trafficked into our country through a porous border by the Mexican drug cartels. Our electricity bills and gas prices have skyrocketed while Joe Biden attacks American oil and gas production. It’s critical that we understand and articulate the problems that we face, because those problems are real. But it’s far more important that we put forth solutions to these problems, otherwise we are just complaining. That’s why I’ve spent my time in Congress proposing sensible policies that would address the root causes of the challenges facing Americans under Joe Biden’s failed leadership. I helped pass legislation to rein in federal spending and stop the abuse of America’s welfare programs. I’ve taken on the Mexican Drug Cartels who are killing Americans with fentanyl, and introduced legislation to thwart illegal immigration and secure our southern border. And, as a Texan who comes from an oil and gas family, I’ve stood up for American energy independence by passing bills to protect our critical fossil fuel industry from frivolous environmental lawsuits. This is what it means to fight. It’s not just enough to point out the failures of this president and the extreme party he leads – you have to offer a better path forward for the country we love. Not with shallow rhetoric. Not by yelling and screaming on cable news. But by spending the time to understand the issues that matter, take the time to craft policy related to those issues, and put the effort into turning policy ideas into law through the legislative process and communicating those ideas to the American people. That’s exactly what I’ve done. If you agree with me, and you want me to continue this good work from you in Congress, I would greatly appreciate if you would support my re-election. Anything you can spare, even just $20, would go a long way. CHIP IN $20 BEFORE THE AUGUST 31 DEADLINE Thank you so much for remaining in my corner – I could not fight for you without your support.
