‌ ‌ WEEKLY UPDATE August 28th, 2023 Dear Kansas friends, Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family. Food Security is National Security I spent time in Alma meeting with Kansas ag groups and local producers to talk about the upcoming Farm Bill and Appropriations process. I'm so proud to represent thousands of Kansas farmers, ranchers, and producers who work tirelessly to feed, fuel, and clothe the world. Thank you to the Kansas Farm Bureau for helping me host this fantastic roundtable! We must work together in Washington to deliver commonsense policies that strengthen our ag community and bolster America's food security. I had a great time getting behind the register and chatting with folks as they checked out. Thanks for having me! On the Oversight Committee, I will continue working to secure the border and hold Secretary Mayorkas accountable.
