Exciting Things in Texas-10! This week, I was able to enjoy being in my wonderful district including the Bryan-College Station area! I am extremely thankful for the leadership of College Station Mayor John Nichols and City Manager Bryan Woods, who met with me to discuss how I can continue fighting for the community’s needs. Rep. McCaul spending time in College Station with Mayor Nichols I also loved seeing the new and exciting things going on in the City of Bryan during my tour with Mayor Bobby Gutierrez, Deputy City Manager Hugh Walker and Joseph Dunn, and City Secretary/Legislative Director Mary Lynne Stratta. Bryan is up and coming with so much to look forward to. I'm proud to have secured funding for projects like new and expanded roads in Bryan, and I’m excited to see Legends Event Center—Bryan’s new sports and entertainment hub—get up and running!   Rep. McCaul on a tour of the city of Bryan During my time in the district, I was grateful to stop by Texas A&M, as our ongoing partnership means a great deal to my office. I’ve witnessed remarkable institutions provide vital support to American national security, and Texas A&M's RELLIS Campus and Bush School stand tall among these pillars. Amidst the fight for the global balance of power, their brilliant and innovative scholars are truly doing remarkable work for the betterment of our nation. Rep. McCaul visiting Texas A&M's Bush School and Rellis Campus As a native to Austin, it's always good to see the growth happening in my hometown — especially when it comes to science and technology. And I'm excited for how my CHIPS for America Act will continue to impact the state. This bill is working to bring semiconductor manufacturing back to America, and Texas is leading the charge! This week, I saw firsthand how semiconductors are being produced at Austin's silicon labs. I also had the honor of touring the Army Futures Command in Austin, which will be instrumental in the technological modernization of our military. This group of U.S. soldiers, led by the diligent General James Rainey, is ushering in Artificial Intelligence and data science innovations to tremendously enhance the future of U.S. combat. Rep. McCaul with General Rainey at the Army Futures Command ICYMI: Rep.
