Gun Violence Prevention Advocate,

As a former Mayor of Lancaster, I have seen the devastation gun violence can cause in a community. My experience has led me to understand the importance of gun violence prevention laws and pushing Harrisburg to act.

But now, a new legal threat against gun safety has come to Lancaster–and we have to fight back, together.

Josh Prince, a gun extremist and NRA-backed lawyer, has made a career out of legally threatening and harassing supporters of gun safety initiatives. The city of Lancaster had to defend itself against legal attacks to our gun laws while I was mayor. [1] Now, Josh Prince is suing the city of Lancaster to access identifying information of gun safety advocates who supported the city in its lawsuit against the NRA.

The gun extremists won’t stop. But neither will I. Although my 12-year-long tenure as Lancaster Mayor has ended, I continue to fight for Pennsylvanians to be able to live a life free from gun violence–now as a board member of CeaseFirePA.

Donate today to join me and support our work to fight back against the NRA’s legal attacks.

Gun extremists are relentless in their attacks on our life-saving efforts. To them, selling more guns is more important than keeping our neighborhoods safe from gun violence.
We need to show up and support evidence-based solutions that will make us safer.

As a board member, I believe the mission of CeaseFirePA is the best way to achieve our vision: a life without gun violence that allows people across the commonwealth to thrive. But we need support from activists like you to power our work.

Show the NRA and gun lobby that our community of support is strong enough to stand up to their legal threats. Please donate generously.

Sincerely,
Rick Gray
CeaseFirePA Board Member
