Dear john,

August 25, 2023 is Reproductive Freedom Day of Action. I invite you to join me for a virtual town hall to mark this occasion.

It pains me to see how much progress was undone so quickly when the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade. We have watched our ability to make decisions about our bodies, our lives, and our futures slip away.

Our fight is far from over. Join me for a virtual town hall where we’ll discuss YOUR rights in the wake of the Dobbs decision. We’ll also discuss the work ahead: to protect our freedom to make our own health care decisions AND to ensure everyone has access to the care they need.

I want to hear from you, too. Register now for the Reproductive Freedom Day of Action Virtual Town Hall that includes special guests:

Melanie Fontes Rainer, Director, Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services

Sara Sullivan, Program Director, Georgia Family Planning System

Dr. Natalie Hernandez-Green, PHD, MPH, Executive Director, Center for Maternal Equity, Morehouse School of Medicine

Angela D. Aina, MPH, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Black Mamas Matter Alliance

Register here to join the webinar https://bit.ly/ReproDay23

I will never stop fighting to ensure all reproductive and sexual health care—including abortion and birth control—remains accessible and affordable for all who need it—no matter your ZIP code, no matter your bank account.

Yours for the people,

Rep. Nikema Williams signature
