According to a recent campaign finance report, VA Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s PAC just picked up another $1 million check from a billionaire GOP donor who encouraged Youngkin to enter the presidential race, calling him the “ideal candidate” for the Republican Party.
This comes after the news that Youngkin’s PAC raised a record $5.75 million in the second quarter of 2023 -- much of which came from individual GOP megadonors across the U.S.
Here’s the bottom line: Youngkin is attempting to use his national profile and connections to national GOP megadonors to finish what he started in 2021 and cement Republican control over our Commonwealth.
And we know what Youngkin and his extreme friends will do if they’re in charge: They’ll ban abortion, limit voting rights, make it easier for criminals to obtain deadly weapons, and reverse Medicaid expansion for over 700,000 Virginians.
Virginia -- and America -- is so much better than what Youngkin and his allies see for our future.
