My name is Peter Metcalf, I am the founder and former CEO of Black Diamond and I am proudly endorsing David Garbett for Salt Lake City mayor. As a buisnessman and environmental advocate, I know that David Garbett is the best candidate for Salt Lake City Mayor.

My choice for the next mayor was easy. I brought Black Diamond to Salt Lake nearly 30 years ago because no other major city in America had access to public lands that we have here in this city. David Garbett has dedicated his whole career to being a fighter for clean air and our public lands. I believe his experience as a SUWA attorney can be the key to stopping the Inland Port. We can talk all we want about how we want to clean our air, but in the end, talk is just talk. David’s three-point plan for cleaner air and his plan for being carbon free by 2023 are not only ambitious, but attainable. No one fights harder nor smarter for clean air and our environment like David Garbett does, and that’s why he’s getting my support! Join me in supporting David Garbett for Salt Lake City mayor!
