In the fight to protect free speech, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments last week in the pivotal Missouri v. Biden case, which may head to the Supreme Court next. The evidence is crystal clear – the Biden administration engaged in blatant censorship, utilizing private companies to do its bidding and trample on the First Amendment. I’ll continue to follow this important case closely and believe our foundational right to free speech will triumph in this fight.

My recently introduced Censorship Accountability Act will deter these censorship laundering schemes from happening in the first place by ensuring Americans can hold government censors accountable in a court of law. It’s critical that this bill become law, and doing so will be a top priority of mine for the rest of this Congress.
