A year ago this week, President Biden signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This monumental act is not only the largest-ever federal investment in climate action, but it also lowered the rising costs of health care, including a cap on insulin prices and allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices.

In short, the IRA was a huge win for the environment, economy, and working families across the country. I was proud to help pass this historic legislation and implement its transformative measures here in Wake County, but our work is far from over.

With the GOP set on expanding their House majority and catering to extremists, our hard-earned progress is at stake. That’s why we must prepare now to take back the House next year. Can you pitch in right away to ensure that I can continue delivering for the American people? [[link removed]]

I ran for office in the first place because of my strong faith in the American promise: that working together, we can improve people’s lives. I’m grateful to have you by my side.

Thank you,

Deborah
