Yesterday marked one year since the historic passage of the Inflation Reduction Act – and its impact has been HUGE.

But polls show that a shocking number of Americans still don’t know what the IRA is or how it’s helping us.

So let’s change that.

In short, the IRA is delivering the goods for Americans by:

Saving nearly 19 million Americans hundreds of dollars a year on prescription drugs when the Medicare cap takes effect in 2025.
Capping the cost of insulin at $35 per month for the roughly 4-million insulin-dependent seniors on Medicare.
Slashing health insurance premiums for 15 million Americans.

Not to mention the manufacturing boom that will come from the most consequential investment in tackling the climate crisis.

We’re already seeing the impact of this legacy-defining legislation as inflation hits new lows and wages hit new highs – despite the fact that every single Republican voted AGAINST it.

Including my opponent, Mike Simpson.

Let’s get more legislation like this out of next year’s new Congress. I’m running to help build a strong Democratic majority – can you pitch in to help me get there?

The Biden administration has spearheaded a monumental amount of legislation that gets support straight to working families. Democrats in Congress are committed to advocating for everyday Americans, building a strong middle class, and working together for real change – while Republicans can’t even get their own caucus in order.

But all this progress we’ve made can be undone if we don’t flip the House, or if Republicans take back the Senate majority or the White House next year.

If we want to continue President Biden’s strong economic policy that puts working people first, we need a majority in the House and a stronger majority in the Senate.
