Complete Streets, including the integration of non-motorized transportation infrastructure, offers an approach to planning that accommodates safe and functional mobility for all types of users, including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and public transportation riders. By increasing options for non-motorized and shared transportation options, communities can improve safety and reduce harmful environmental impacts.
