Hi, it’s Tim Kaine, reaching out with just a few hours left until our mid-month fundraising deadline.

When I decided to run for re-election, I knew Republicans would come after me with everything they had.

But I’ll admit I have been a little surprised that with more than a year until the general election, nine GOP challengers have already tossed their hats into the ring to unseat me.

To put it bluntly, I’m facing more Republican challengers than any other incumbent Senator in the U.S. this cycle.

We know what will happen if we cede my Senate seat to the GOP: They’ll pass a nationwide abortion ban, make it easier for criminals to obtain deadly weapons, and gut health care protections for millions of Americans with pre-existing medical conditions.
