Dear John,
August is Civic Health Month, a time to showcase the link between voting and health, and celebrate efforts to ensure that each and every voter has the opportunity to support their community’s health at the ballot box.
VoteRiders is celebrating Civic Health Month by partnering with Vot-ER and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) to discuss the ways voter ID laws can impact access to the ballot for people with disabilities.
Join me on Zoom next Tuesday, August 22, at 1pm ET for a webinar to prepare you to support voter engagement efforts and increase participation in our democracy. I’ll be discussing recent changes in state level regulations when it comes to voter ID, with a framing around how to navigate these obstacles. Our friends at AAPD will talk about engaging disabled voters, from registering to accessible voting.
There will be plenty of time for questions after the presentations so you feel ready to navigate these fields.

Ensuring voters with disabilities can cast a ballot that counts is critical to the health and representation of our democracy. That means ensuring there are the necessary accommodations when registering to vote, obtaining a voter ID, and voting.
Join me for this lively and exciting discussion! Today is the last day to register so be sure to register now. >> [link removed]
