Our democracy is based on separation of powers. Three co-equal branches of government that we need to exist independent of each other.

Wisconsin Republicans are well on their way to dismantling that concept.

Over the weekend, in response to the new lawsuit that challenges the constitutionality of our legislative maps, Republican legislative leaders actually threatened to impeach justices that didn’t follow their expectations.

In simpler terms Wisconsin Republicans would sacrifice our democracy to save them from facing the voters on an even playing field. And we MUST hold them accountable. [[link removed]]

It’s not an exaggeration to say that those actions threaten the very foundation of our democracy. And every Wisconsinite – Democratic, Republican, Independent alike – should be concerned and outraged that elected officials would put their own power ahead of the people.
