I hope you don’t misunderstand my message, John. This is not a sky-is-falling, desperate plea for money kind of email you may receive from other political candidates.

Right now, we are in a great place -- I am meeting with voters across the district at events, community rallies, and forums. We have received endorsements from Members of Congress and national organizations.

But we can’t avoid the heightened focus on our race from both Democrats and Republicans. This is the only wide-open race in California, and to help Democrats win back the House majority, we have to keep CA-47 blue.

I know I have said it before, but it’s just that important: Rep. Katie Porter only won this seat by a few thousand votes in 2022. Her opponent is running again, and this time, he is banking on an influx of money from Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC and National Republicans.
