John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:

  • Who is trying to ban gas stoves? The Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) is one of the most radical, left-wing, anti-energy nonprofits. It should come as no surprise they campaign to ban gas stoves. However, it has become clear there are several funders of RMI helping with the effort. CRC Senior Investigative Researcher Ken Braun breaks down these household names in this five-part series.
  • How dark is the future? CRC Research Director Mike Watson profiles Glenn Beck's book, Dark Future, which outlines what a future could look like under the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Klaus Schwab. Watson praises some arguments and criticizes others, and while offering an alternative point of view.
  • Is the NEA a cult? In July, the nation's largest teachers union, National Education Association (NEA), held its Representation Assembly in Orlando, FL. NEA President Becky Pringle took the stage and gave a speech that turned into something resembling an evangelical sermon which made CRC Senior Fellow Kali Fontanilla wonder, "Is the NEA a cult?"
  • What is a public bank? Have you heard of the idea of a bank chartered by a municipality, owned by that municipality, that is strictly for use by that municipality? That is exactly the idea being pushed in New York City. CRC Special Projects Manager Robert Stilson outlines all the ramifications of the new liberal push in banking.
  • Why did identity politics hurt Bud Light? Bud Light saw a mass exodus of loyal customers when the brand chose to partner with Dylan Mulvaney. Bud Light is just one of many companies that choosing to pander to a minority of left-leaning groups while alienating other customers. CRC Intern Beauty Okunbor covers why playing identity politics is a dangerous game.
